Questions & Answers

Question: Is there an onetime country song called "Tomorrow Will Cry"?

Answer: Are you sure the championship is correct? There is an old country vocal with a name that is very similar: "I'll Cry Tomorrow" past Larry Stewart (1993) found here: https://world wide web.youtube.com/lookout man?v=7K1bp2-QKiA

Question: What song has the lyrics, "How many tears through the years must I cry"?

Answer: There is a sound called, "How Many Tears" from the Martin Guerre Soundtrack (1999) that includes these lyrics. That'due south all I found based on the information provided.

Here are the lyrics:

Oh Lord, I'thousand non the 1 to arraign!

Oh Lord, why must I live in shame?

Each dark, I calorie-free a candle in his name.

How many tears through the years can I cry?

How many prayers to the Lord must I try?

All the same, the hurting, tears at my cleaved heart.

Sometimes I feel, I was cursed from the offset.

All I could hope, all I could run into.

Then full of hope, each day reaching out earlier me.

One time, now there's aught, lost every bit if you lot never saw me.

How many tears through the years tin I weep?

How many tears until my heart runs dry out?

Through the fights, that a adult female must fight.

Just to do what she feels must be right.

Sometimes I wonder if someone hears

Why must I live through and so many tears?

Question: Are humans the only brute that cries?

Answer: All mammals brand distress calls such as when the young are separated from their mothers, and all land animals are technically capable of producing tears to lubricate their optics. That's not necessarily crying, however.

Charles Darwin claimed that animals such as the Indian elephant or macaque monkey could cry emotional tears, and some pet owners claim their dogs tin cry in this way. Additionally, in 2014 an elephant named Raju who was badly abused for 50 years and kept on a chain forth with spikes was photographed crying when he was rescued. When he was transferred to an animal sanctuary out of harm's way, let'southward just say that his "optics leaked water." I call that crying!

Modern scientists, however, merits that humans are the ONLY animals that cry equally a form of emotional expression.

Question: Who recorded the following song in 1965 with the lyrics: "As I write my letter of the alphabet to yous, tears came pouring from my optics / fifty remember things nosotros employ to exercise"?

Respond: The lyrics are slightly different, but I think this is the song y'all want: "Come Home" by The Dave Clark Five (1965) YouTube link: https://world wide web.youtube.com/watch?v=ydfnC7kt1eA

lyrics:

Equally I write my letter today

Tears starting time fallin' from my optics

I recall things we used to say

And the ties that bind our love

But one thing I want to do

Come habitation (whoa yeah)

Come domicile

Long as I know I'chiliad comin' home to you

I'm comin' domicile

Please recollect while I'm away

I recall of you night and day

Of the things, of the fun

While nosotros were ane

Only one thing I want to practice

Come dwelling house, come home

Long as I know I'm comin' home to yous

I didn't recall I'd ever be, whoa whoa

As bad every bit it's been, no-no-no

But now I'm comin' home

To give you a band

As I write my letter of the alphabet today

Tears start fallin' from my eyes

I remember things we used to say

And the ties that bind our love

Only one affair I want to practise

Come up home (whoa whoa yep)

Come home

Long equally I know I'm comin' dwelling to y'all

But one thing I want to practise

Come home (whoa whoa)

Come home

Long as I know I'm comin' home to you.

Hope this was helpful!

Question: Is there a vocal that starts with the lyrics, "I cried a tear"?

Answer: Absolutely. There's a song past the phenomenal Canadian adult contemporary/soft stone/state crossover artist called "Y'all Needed Me" (1978). It reached #ane on the mainstream pop nautical chart. Here are the initial lyrics and the link to the song on YouTube:

I cried a tear, you wiped information technology dry

I was confused, y'all cleared my heed

I sold my soul, you bought it back for me

And held me up and gave me dignity

Somehow you needed me...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6nfpxZ2Nz4

Question: What song has the lyrics, "Tears from the eyes of sky and they're washing over me?"

Answer: I suspect that yous may be misremembering the lyrics slightly, but that's pretty mutual. I searched multiple lyrics databases and did not detect a song that precisely matched what y'all think. I retrieve I know what song yous're thinking of, withal. "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" by Steve Wariner (1998) describes a deceased loved one whose tears from sky cascade down, and the loved 1 watches from to a higher place. Here are the like sounding lyrics:

In that location are holes in the floor of Heaven

And she's watching over you and me.

In that location are two reasons I believe this is the correct song: ane) its lyrics are remarkably similar and 2) the lyrics yous call up about sky having eyes doesn't quite make sense.

Question: What song has the lyrics, "all that's left is a biting tea"?

Answer: In extensively searching for your lyrics, I didn't notice the exact diction, "all that'due south left is a bitter tea." Nonetheless, there were almost 12-14 songs with the words "bitter tea," predominantly past lesser known artists. However, note, that Elvis Costello has a song called "Speak Darkly My Angel" and it has the lyrics, "And all that's left is bitter barren greed." I'm wondering if this is perhaps what you recall you heard?

Question: Is there a vocal from the late 1970s or early on 1980s with the lyrics, "I'thou laughing on the outside only I'm crying on the within?"

Answer: A pop song first published in 1946, "Laughing on the Outside (Crying on the Inside)" has been recorded by multiple artists through the years (charting multiple times), including Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Kaye, and his Orchestra, and The Four Aces. Here are the lyrics:

The crowd sees me out dancing

Carefree and romancing

Happy with my someone new

I'm laughing on the outside

Crying on the inside

'crusade I'1000 even so in love with you lot

They encounter me night and daytime

Having such a gay fourth dimension

They don't know what I go through

I'chiliad laughing on the outside

Crying on the within

'cause I'm still in dear with yous

No one knows it's simply a pose

Pretending I'm glad we're apart

And when I cry, my eyes are dry out

The tears are in my heart

My darling, can't we make up?

Ever since our breakup

Make believe is all I do

I'm laughing on the outside

Crying on the inside

'cause I'chiliad still in love

I am still in love with you

You lot sound like an inordinately gifted and educated lady who can connect many concepts that for others might seem a reach. I empathise the connectivity part.

Suzie from Carson City on June 13, 2017:

F.A. I feel like my comments for your bang-up "song" hubs may be repetitious, but I can only say what they are! A walk down memory lane, educational and then much amusement! Thank you for each work of art!

kallini2010 from Toronto, Canada on June 12, 2017:

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I don't cry all that easily, simply well upward at absolutely not-of import moments - I guess information technology'south a disorder (non my fault, they put me on drugs and messed up my head for good).

So, yes, depending on I don't know what I can be a Drama Queen and I liked "Angels Weep" (maybe I simply like the melody and voices), I tin exist completely cold. When I cry is when I picket movies, but, of grade, it has to exist a very, very well-acted distressing moment.

Last time I was weeping (every time I watched that scene) at "War and Peace". Information technology gave a me a good crying flare-up for a year.

It'due south interesting how music affects us. I know a song which is mostly positive and optimistic, but it begins with "You lot volition cry, like an autumn rain yous will cry, yous'll get away and never forgive yourself..." (very conveniently in Italian, of course), only then everything volition change...

Information technology was my crying song back in 2012. And and so I watched an Italian (flick noir) which is "once seen never forgotten" and that song was one of the cardinal themes. Put together - the song and the pic - have such an effect...

and all the same, others would say "What's the big deal?"

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on June 12, 2017:

Linda, Thanks for the kind kudos. I haven't run out of themes however! My goal is 100 vocal hubs and then we'll encounter where that takes me. Information technology may exist time to switch gears at that betoken, non certain. Take a wonderful week.

I'thou a cry-for-happy (and distressing of course), and real beauty sometimes makes me cry also.
